This composition, in C Major , written in 4/4 time, is designed strictly for the purpose of featuring individual musical and artistic expression, feeling and interpretation. after a two-bar introduction, the first section features single note basses combined with three- or four-note treble chords, with the upper note carrying the melody. The second section features a single note treble motif with supporting bass notes and chords; the section gathers speed and dynamic intensity and finishes with a glissando into the instant quietness of the main hymnal theme of a repeat of the first section, with some changes for the three bars that constitute the ending, which features a treble trill that fades out at the very end.
