Solo / SB / Grade 4

This cheerful waltz, written for Stradella bass accordion, is based in the key of C major, in an A-B-A form, with the second section in A minor. It requests the performer to be mindful of the phrasing, accenting and articulation in order to achieve a joyful interpretation, as well as the use of triplets in the treble. The basses include the use of counter-bass notes and 7th chords (if available, or major), and is intended to establish the rhythmic flow of the piece.
